Come work with us!

Claren Academy is an entrepreneurial, forward-looking Vancouver school. We value the standard BC curriculum, alongside the teaching of more modern skills. We approach cumulative subjects (such as math and reading) in an individualized way, to ensure that no student has gaps in foundational knowledge. We believe in high academic standards, and we encourage playfulness and creativity.

We are seeking educators and administrators who share our vision, and who are passionate about working in an environment that values creativity and embraces innovation in our staff as well as students.

Join our team and take this unique opportunity to help shape a school from the ground up.

What we look for

Our educators are the face of Claren Academy, and as such, they exhibit passion for the vision of the school, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with families and other staff. As team members of a young organization, our teachers take initiative, are self-motivated, and embody the same enthusiasm and work ethic we foster in our students. In return, staff receive strong support from our Board of Directors in terms of professional development, classroom resources, and other key decisions.
